Well worth the effort !

Love the Warhol style Jenny, brilliant.

What a clever idea Jenny!

Very well thought out and executed Jenny! Striking work.

Beautifully and cleverly designed Jenny.

Great idea Jenny, love the arrangement of colours.

A great idea Jenny and very vibrant!

Thanks very much for the positive comments! I hoped the colours would work, they’re not what I would usually put together and I wasn’t too sure about them.

Such a “simple” idea, but very effective. Colours go well together. I can guess the effort it took to make them all identical.

I like the two-tone yellow/green top left, bottom right. It makes you look twice at everything else. The design prompts the thought, “Good idea, so simple, why didn’t I think of that?” But that’s true of all first time pieces isn’t it?

Very creative, well worth your effort, Jenny.

Definitely worth all that time and effort, Jenny! It's brilliant - love the Warhol-esque play with colors, and stamped with your very distinctive style. Love it1

Thanks very much for the welcome comments! I did struggle with the colours - they looked rather harsh to begin with, so added the two tone areas to soften it up a bit. (This was actually my second go at it - the colours in the first didn’t work at all - if I’d spent a little more time planning them I’d have saved myself a lot of work!)

Terrific work Jenny, very eye catching design and so beautiful put together. Well done!

Many thanks, Dennis and Fiona!

Brilliant idea Jenny and very effective.

Thanks Anjana!

Lovely thrupenny bits, and that is not Cockney rhyming slang.

Thanks, Linda - sounds like it should be rhyming slang!

‘As it’s the 50th anniversary of decimalisation, paint coins or something in a 70s style.’ Thought I’d mix the two, using a three pence piece design painted in a 70s Warhol style format. The idea sounded simple enough, but took ages to do!
