Panda

Super colours and the "framing" of the bamboo !

By the way, don't bin him !!!!

Bin? I think not! Such a great design. It could really be a brand logo

Do not bin it Jenny. We have had a panda sitting on our sofa for 12 years and he would not be pleased if you put this in the bin. lol

Thank you so much Richard and Diana for your positive comments! I do feel better about it now - it’s really hard to be objective about our own work, so the opinion of others is really welcome.

It stands out in the Gallery Jenny, love it!

Many thanks George and Christine, for your encouraging comments - I think he’ll now live to see another day!

I love this, Jenny, do not bin! I love the design and your wonderful use of varied shapes, textures and space.

I agree, too good to bin.

I think it works - well done!

Jenny, I think you’re right, it should go in a bin....mine preferably, I’ll send you my address! 😉 Your panda is beautiful and I love the use of that a jade green.

Thanks very much, Seok, Sandra, Heather and Fiona! (Fiona, thanks for the offer of your bin, but I think I’ll hang on to it after all! It was a rather desperate last minute decision to add the blocks of jade green, but they finally seemed to pull it all together.)

Have jus viewed your gallery: Love your contemporary, fresh style.

What a beauty. The black and white panda provides a great contrast with the background. You say you're fed up with it...but it's a cracker.

DO NOT PUT THIS IN THE BIN! I absolutely love it Jenny! (It's strange isn't it, I find with mine that it's often the ones I don't like so much that get the most positive comments!)

Never put a Panda in the bin!!! Who doesn't love Pandas and this one is a beauty, it's your own distinctive style that really makes this a special painting 👍🤗

Thanks very much Janet, Lewis, Diane and Linda! (and Janet for taking the time to look at my gallery). I feel bad now about having been so negative after such lovely, positive comments! I think, though, my disappointment was because I was doing it for a special purpose and it didn’t turn out at all the way I’d planned it.

He’s beautiful and the design around him completes it Jenny.

Thank you, Petra and Carole!

Like it - of course you shouldn't bin it! Good clean lines, strong image - have faith in yourself!

Thanks, Robert! Yes, you’re right, I should have more faith, but we’re often our own worst critics, aren’t we! On the other hand, it’s good not to get too complacent, or we don’t make the effort to improve and try new things.

Please do not bin this Jenny. This is a little masterpiece, I love it.

Thanks very much, Fred! I’ve been quite surprised, but obviously pleased, at the amount of support for this one, so, no, he definitely won’t see the bin!

Bin it? Never! It’s not the panda, it’s what you’ve designed around it with those complementary colours that makes this. If you don’t like it now file it for a couple of years and when you come back to it you’ll realise it’s worth Jenny.

Thanks very much, Frank, your comments are really appreciated! I do feel better about it now, but you know what it’s like at the time when something isn’t going the way you planned. That’s why I find it so helpful posting on POL, everyone’s feedback is really helpful and often makes you then see something in a different light.

Its outstanding work Jenny, this Panda has characteristics which are profound in the midst of the bamboo canes, lovely!

Many thanks, Angela!

Like this a lot Jenny.

He is gorgeous Jenny and beautifully framed, I really admire your sense of design.

Thank you so much Romila and Anjana!

Again magic Jenny superb

Thank you, Dennis!

Thank you, Clive!

A4 mixed media. Not sure whether this works or not, it’s been discarded several times, but I hate giving up on things, so carried on and am now fed up with looking at it! It still needs a bit of tidying up although may well yet end up in the bin.
