Many thanks, Paul and Heather. (Paul, the background is all done in one colour, Daniel Smith’s Rose of Ultramarine - when further water is added to it on the paper, it separates into its component colours and gives some lovely effects.)

Watercolour 10” x 8”. I posted an earlier version of this last year, but wasn’t happy with it so have reworked the face a bit - think it blends better with the background now.
