Thanks very much Dennis, Seok and Carole. (Carole, it was one of your paintings that got me started on inks - I had asked about a colour you were using (Purple Lake), found a friend had a spare bottle of that and Magenta, and it just went from there!)

Interesting experiment Jenny. No doubt you will make good use of it as well.

These complimentary colours really gel, interesting piece Jenny.

Dandelion leaves sprung to mind......interesting shapes Jenny.

Thanks, Fiona. Yes, the shapes do look a bit leaf like, I'll have to see if I can develop it into a proper painting.

Not a finished painting, just a cropped bit of an experiment with acrylic inks and cling film - it gives some really interesting effects, and could perhaps be developed into something like frost in a hedgerow.
