You've captured it in spades, Jenny! It's wonderful, certainly takes me back to my childhood, and I can just picture a fairy or gnome sitting on them!

This was really done as a children's painting - takes me back to my own childhood when I spent many carefree hours in the woods and fields a short walk from where I lived. I've always loved mushrooms and toadstools, there's something magical about them although I'm not sure that I've captured this in this painting!
