Halloween ball by Jen Edwards

I just love that, Jen - what an array of characters!!

They’re halfway between cute and scary Jen…but I still wouldn’t choose to be alone in a room with them. That technique and effect is very interesting, works well.

Verey scary indeed!

I like this very much. Very other-worldly.

Great set of Halloween characters Jen, Nice artwork.

Thank you all for the lovely comments, I really enjoyed doing this, researching the costumes was fun too, there's some very creepy ones, people years ago knew how to scare you.

This is brilliant Jen. Well done.

Very visually attractive graphics, both in terms of composition and richness of line. They truly encapsulate the Halloween spirit beautifully !

That reminds me of a cartoon in a toy film projector I bought my baby brother in Germany in 1971. Chickens running around with no heads and bright red blood pumping out of the neck, not really kids fare IMO LoL So if you wanted to evoke horror, you succeeded!

Love it, looks fun!

This week In art club the task was Halloween ball. So I went vintage as nothing is more scary than vintage Halloween costumes. Those old irish/American costumes are frightening. Imagine walking into a room full of these. Look a bit closer too they may be people that have come back from then mwhahahahahaha. Loved doing this. Its mainly inks but I did a bit of gelly roll so have listed it as mixed media too. On a4 paper.
