That's a beauty Jem you have mined another diamond

Superb Jem! I love the different textures and dry brush marks in the foreground.

Fantastic painting Jem. The sky is really beautiful.

Lovely wild look to this one Jem.

Another masterpiece Jem - the luminosity in the sky is fantastic

Love this painting Jem . Its painted beautifully and i think it catches this beautiful area perfectly. I love Overy Staithe , i often paint this area and the mill .Yours is wonderful Jem.

Lovelu, light filled sky, contrasts well with the strong tones of the bush and foreground grasses. I feel a little of the spirit of Edward Wesson in your landscapes.

Thank you all. I have a go at this composition every so often. It is very simple, as you say, Michael, which leaves one able to concentrate on whatever weather/mood one feels like portraying, or attempting to. It is a beautiful area, Dennis, and I hope I can return to paint there again before long. I'm glad it looks a little wild, Frank. I leaned the bush deliberately to try to create a look of wind, plus most of the land is in a cool shade with just a bit of sun hitting the hill behind the windmill. And if a bit of the spirit of Wesson is in my paintings I am very honoured.
