This is a watercolour painting on a rough (economy paper), it is a full-size sheet and the largest painting I've attempted. I didn't think about the background when I began the painting, as I was concentrating on the size and keeping everything wet. I'm not sure about it. The size is impressive in 'real life'. I'll have to have a long think about it.
