Thanks for your comments Thea, i have been through the stages of using traditional colours and now prefer to use my imagination, and personally i think they work, although i do understand that a lot of people prefer the colours to be true to the animal.

I am totally with you on using your imagination and looking for the hidden colours. If you have a look at my gallery (under Thea Cable) you will see that I am of the same school. I very much lean towards the more impressionistic side of things.
