As one who knows how hard eyes are to get right, I have to admire your rendition of them here. I also like the way you have painted the hair. I always think that close up view paintings are very powerful and this one certainly is. Lovely work.

29.5 x 12.5 cm This was painted when I was stuck in the house with a bad cold - hence the title and the appearance! The image was used by Artists & Illustrators magazine back in 2009 for an article entitled 'Masters of Watercolour'.
