Just as well you said watercolour, because your colour is so rich and complex I'd have taken it for oil. A closer look at the granulating sky would have taught me better, but the overall atmospheric impact suggests a more powerful medium - that'll teach me not to entertain too many misapprehensions about watercolour: when employed by those who know what they're doing.
