My first casein painting. A scene in Yosemite, California, USA. The choice of medium and scene inspired by Stephen Quiller’s “WaterMedia Painting”, a superb book on watercolour, gouache, casein and acrylic media. Casein has a creamy consistency and, once thoroughly dry, is virtually permanent.
