Weasdale by James Underwood
Farmhouse in Weasdale, a small hamlet on the Howgill Fells in Cumbria. An autumn scene based on a photo I took several years ago when visiting a nearby tree nursery, unfortunately now permanently closed. It’s a bleak landscape, so I could rely on young trees I bought to be resilient. They were. Watercolour, acrylic and oil pastel on Bockingford cold-pressed paper.
