Nice work James, I like the pen work and nice subtle colors, I know the area well, I have walked the Lakes for many years both by myself and leading groups, one of my most favorite places to be, nice one.

Many thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. Several years ago my daughter gave me a set of Faber–Castell Pitt brush pens, but only recently have I discovered their versatility when combined with a waterbrush to blend colours and soften edges.

Langstrath Beck, Cumbria. The walk from Stonethwaite along the valley of Langstrath is among my favourites in the Lake District. In places the beck cascades down rocky gorges such as this. Painted with coloured inks in Faber–Castell Pitt artist brush pens on NOT watercolour paper (20x15cm).
