Marabou stork
Marabou stork, River Zambezi, Zambia. The wingspan of this massive wading bird can exceed three metres. Despite their size and rather ungainly appearance, they latch onto tree branches with surprising elegance. Drawn with Staedtler Mars Lumograph black pencils and white charcoal on Strathmore tan paper.
