This little bit of beach has been done on thick A4 card. I started with sand based gesso, dropping the pebbles and sticks into it while wet. Over the weeks I have added colour, taken off colour, used acrylics, brusho and lots of water. Finally, I added the shells (using superglue), the last touches of colour to pick out the pebbles and there was my little bit of beach.
