Oil on Canvas board 8" x 10". Guess where we went on holiday this year! Armed with sketchbooks and a pochade box, a two week break in St Ives revitalised my love of painting. There is something about a change of scenery, and a different light which acts as a catalyst for inspriation. Even though I live in arguably (for a yorkshireman) the most beautiful part of the world, there is something about the light in Cornwall that ticks all the boxes.
