Now I was disappointed in the Atelier; they didn't work for me and I went back to my old ones. This is a great picture; love the waiting people in the foreground which give a sense of size, distance and perspective

Diana beat me to this - A very nice painting I particularly like the way you have painted the sea. Atelier are my favourite acrylics but I don't mind others. Very well done.

Thanks Jeannette and Diana. I have to admit I did enjoy using the Atelier, I felt that there was more play with them, similar to the WS Oils but without the wait. Although I think a little vibrancy in the colours is lost and also, unlike the system 3's which I have been used to, the colours don't seem to alter following drying.

Atellier interactive acrylic on board 8" x 6". Trial piece, first time using these paints, and I have to say I'm fairly happy with them, as the blurb says, they do remain quite workable for some time, ideal for someone as impatient as I. Painted from sketches and photos while waiting for the ferry over to the island on quite a windy day last month...
