I think you have nailed the aerial perspective, Ian. Well done! Dartmoor looks a lot like this too. You will find lots of advice on photographing your work on the forum, in the Art Community section. You might be able to fix problems, by tweaking the photograph, once it is in your computer.

You have indeed nailed the aerial perspective Ian, well done it looks very convincing - as does the bleak moorland landscape. Very atmospheric, some great colour ranges in there.

You've caught the greens and browns of a Northern landscape beautifully (no matter how you photographed it)

Oil on Board 12" x 10". I have got to be honest, it's not much of an inspiring view, but it kind of typifies the grassy, sedgy, dismal moorlands that we get up here above the limestone outcrops. I had been battling with aerial persective and recession with colours and tones, and I think I may have nailed it here. Still I have got to get to grips with photographing my work, it never looks the same.
