Some of you will remember that early last year I posted “The Alien inside me” representing the growth that was found in my throat and airway just before I was due to have an abdominal operation. I was put on drug therapy to reduce the growth and today the operation can go ahead. I will have further ops on my vocal cords in a few months. This digital painting was created using procreate, pastiche and Pastello programs after seeing a statue of the Madonna at St Mary’s Seminary last week.
