I remember it well, great Spencer!

Peace Man comes to mind Spencer. Your certainly exploring all your capabilities. Well done.

Great picture Spencer. Sadly for me I wasn't born. I'd have loved to have experienced the beatles as the songs came out.

Smashing Spencer.

Thanks Chris, Michael and Denise. Chris - The Hippy period was all love and peace ( and a slight bit of revolution ), but the art work that came out of it was interesting. Michael - I’m thinking that I might, at some time, use the lyrics from some of the Beatles song as inspiration for a few paintings - I’ve got one planned already! Denise - I’m glad you liked it. Portraits are not my forte but it gave me a chance to create this picture in layers after painting the initial portrait and then adding all the hippy aspects.

Good one Spencer 🙂

What fun (and those times were!)

A simple way out of your dilemma is to work in monochrome with drawing, etching, lino cuts litho prints etcetera.

Those were the days Spencer. At least it was a time of great experimentation in every way and life didn’t seem quite as stressful. May need to remove my rose coloured specs. This is an interesting, historical work of art recording a unique social era and you have accomplished this very successfully.

Thank you so much for your great comments Richard and Carole.
