Ah, warmth is good. The warm pink next to the cool, cool blue brings the viewer right into the delight of the calming horizon and sky. There is a lovely tranquility and poetry to this beautiful watercolor. The birds add life and movement. (Note: if all the values are cool, isn't the painting cold and therefore not as inviting to the viewer?)

This is one of a series of small watercolours I've painted recently. It's only 6"x7". I added the pinkiness near the horizon later, and I am unsure about it, may just keep all cool tones next time.
