Great work Alan, love the light

The treatment of light, and the colours within the shadows, are cleverly done. Beautiful.

Many thanks Russell and Gerry

Terrific! I love all the cool tones.

Thank you Skylar.

A good use of contrasting values (light & dark bits). Good composition.

Thank you Trevor

Unison pastels on Uart dark paper. 45 x 30 cms Fishing boats hauled up the beach away from an expected storm. We sat by the side of the ancient net lofts, in the weakening October sun. The fisherman talked of an impending storm and worked together to haul all their boats high up the beach, almost onto the little road. Chained together against the expected battering they waited to see what morning would bring. SOLD
