Oil on board 10" x 14" . Although painted in the studio (AKA a corner of the spare bedroom), I tried to paint it quickly in one hit as I would outside. I didn't quite make it. The scene is painted almost as it appeared, just removing a couple of distracting branches. However I was struck by the recurring shapes.... almost like crude gothic arches.
