This is certainly loose with lovely warm colours which are typical of the region. Is that white you have used to outline the building? I haven't seen that done before and the lines certainly draw your eye. I think the lines definitely add something to the painting - you may have started a trend!

Thanks Thea. I used wax resist right at the start before any wash - a bit hit and miss as I couldnt really see what I was doing. I'm glad you think it has worked though, I think I might try it again.
