I managed to have missed your gallery altogether, Heather. Thank you for taking the time to stop by and comment on my painting - I'm really glad to have discovered these gems you've painted. This is simply stunning - I love the simplicity of the scene, the beautiful tones and washes and the lightness of touch. It's superb!

My art teacher set this still-life up at the class last week. We were supposed to do it in charcoal but I hate charcoal! The over-sized pear is some sort of ornament.
