Well, it fascinated me when I saw the thumbnail and I immediately went for a look - no, I don't think you bit off more than you could chew, it's got a few lost and found edges but there's nothing at all wrong with that. I don't use bleach, partly because of concern over its effect on the paper, but it certainly produces some interesting results, especially with this hot brown colour. And this is Quink?? I'm really surprised it works so well - I've only ever drawn with it when I had nothing else, and it produced some pretty unattractive results with added water: at least, the blue did.

hi you did wonderful it is a really intreting opicture well done form paula

I love what you have done here - a very interesting result - When I saw it first I also thought that I really want to look at it in more detail - you are far more adventurous than I could ever be!!

I've been peering at this one for a while....which means that it is interesting, and I like your experiment very much. I have never used bleach. What strength do you use?

This is an absorbing image. The more you look at it, the more you see. Your best so far in my humble opinion. Well done.

Many thanks for all of these very encouraging comments. Robert - this was using black quink - I've never tried using blue but I've heard that it does not produce the same sort of results.

Quink and bleach again - would be interested to hear what people think as I realise this is difficult to read - think I bit off more than I could chew!
