I stood in the street and sketched this view first, much to the amusement of a very fluffy cat sitting in the window by where I was standing. Street furniture and ugly signage are now such a part of our landscape that I have started using them as a feature in my work - in this case even becoming part of the title. If you can't ignore it or cover it up, make a feature of it!
