He turns out some very Wesson like paintings, I’ve got a video of his in my collection. Anyway, your own work is very commendable in all aspects William - I feel this one could benefit from a few darker tones, strategically placed of course, but that’s not a criticism… a fine watercolour indeed!

Thank you all for your comments and Alan where have I missed a few darks, if you can point me in the right direction I would be grateful as any comments good or bad all help. I know I have a lot to learn but I did not want to do a full copy or even use Steve Halls style. Many thanks👍

Well, you chose a good example to work from; if in doubt - i.e. you just can't think what to paint - using another artist's painting as your inspiration at least helps you to get painting; it's a worthwhile exercise, and you've produced a classic English watercolour.
