Ahh Dennis, lovely to see this and isn't it a good painting ! I love the colours especially the leavesand the bright blue sky which balances the boys sweater perfectly. It's charming.

Thank you all for giving me a boost as I have been a bit down lately , I really apreciate the comments although I'm a long way from catching up with Chas and Kirstie's skill portraying trees, Thank you Petra , Naiman, : ) Val, Christine and Robert , you are all artists I admire and I respect your opinions, even negative ones can teach us something, This was painted without any photographic reference so I am pleased you have recieved it well, I thought it might be savaged. : ) I'm glad you mentioned joyful Robert ,as it was memories of the simple joy of throwing leaves up in the air that triggered this painting .
