Today's offering. Archival on 23x31cm 300gsm paper. This portrait in watercolour is an interesting piece. As you know I love figurative work and am inspired by images that enable me to convey something beyond a copy. I feel I want to push further and get something other than replication of an image within my work. In this instance I felt there was an overlay of uncertainty and perhaps being out of her depth; not just a pretty picture.
