Beautiful, Graham. A lovely warm feel to this, love the sky.

A real gem Graham - loose and with such confidence. I avoid birds as i think they often look a bit twee - but in this twee they aint - in fact they add to it so much I think its time for rethink on my part.

I love your new direction, Graham, but I never tire of your traditional style either. It's superb - love the spontaneity, luminosity and light.

Great, fresh feel to this painting, Graham. The figures are spot on.

Beautiful and great galleries Graham

You've caught it all Graham and the figures make it real.

Those people and the gulls really add a bit of life to this gem of a painting Graham. Great sky.

Love this Graham, the colours really work, this is such a great area and you have done it proud, I have a painting of the stack on my gallery. I really do like the way you have done the sky, the overall loose style is just so good and I always try to add three birds to most of my work no matter how small they may be, nice one

Lovely scene, brings back memories of Cape wrath and sand wood bay. When I was there the sky was grey but the colours in your sky are gorgeous.

Beautiful Graham, I love your more traditional style so atmospheric.

I love the yellow light on this Grahame, great sky and I like the sparkle you achieve with leaving bits of white paper.

Many thanks to everyone who has viewed my latest watercolour and also taken the time too make such favourable comments about the painting, it is always nice to get feedback from fellow artists.<br />Glad the yellowish sky and light in the painting seemed to be liked as I was initially a bit worried about this. I know what you mean about birds in painting Michael, always a bit of a gamble where to place them and the size .

back to my more traditional watercolour landscapes for a change with this painting of sandwood bay and the well known sea stack Am Buachaille. when painting this I tried to capture the wilderness feel about the bay with only the gulls flying about the cliffs on a windy day with the waves crashing onto the rocks. The figures were a bit of artistic license on my part to hopefully improve the overall composition of the piece.
