As far as I'm concerned, you can post as many repeats as you like, Graham! I always enjoy your paintings, and this one is no exception. I like the way your paintings always draw the viewer's eye straight to the areas of interest. This has just the right amount of details and just the right subtlety in fading out.

Great boat (aren't they hard to get right?!) - superbly drawn and painted. Fantastic sky - I wish I could do them as well as you but I am not brave with skies at all.

Thank you Seok Yam and Thea for your kind remarks on this painting, and as you say Thea a boats perspective has to be correct for the rest of the painting to work otherwise your always seem to look at a badly drawn boat and not the rest of the composition, I just go for it with skys Thea and if it works well and good and if not it goes in the BIN!!! I always try to paint my skys quickly in about 2 or 3 minutes and not fiddle with them later as it always leads to disaster
