I like your sky Graham and, yes, you have conveyed the coldness of the day perfectly with your palette and the touch of snow. Thank you for your comment on my version of the White Drake. I too like his Aviary, Clifton and I remember one of pigeons that appealed to me because of the colours he'd used in the feathers.

I agree with Val, the sky is very good and the snow topped hills work well too.

The sky is wonderful, Graham, and the atmosphere of this is certainly cold. You have such a light touch and yet manage to get the dark and drear feeling - the touch of experience... Many thanks for your encouraging comment on my recent posting; I feel I have a long way to go still...

This sky is stunning, Graham. Beautiful composition, well balanced with the trees on the foreground and again perfectly painted. Love it!

Beautiful Graham, it feels cold !

Super sky Graham, you have conveyed the atmosphere perfectly.

Typical chilly and windswept Highland scene. The sky brings back memories of all the times I have spent in that region - threatening but beautiful all the same.

I agree with Thea, Graham - This has superb ly captured all the elements of a windswept highland scene. I love the way you pick out and accent the exact elements that contribute to a fantastic atmosphere, in this case, the very dramatic, stormy sky.

Many thanks Val,Stephen,Jane ,Mia,Denise. Fiona, Thea and Seok for all your kind comments regarding this painting , you all taking time to view and comment is always appreciated my myself.

Painted this watercolour some time ago and I think from memory it was Loch Sheil viewed from near the Glenfinnan Viaduct, anyway remember it was quite a cold day and tried to convey this in the painting with the start of snow on the hilltops.
