I have compared this painting with the previous one. I prefer this one. I feel there is more depth and variation of tone which brings it to life. Lovely and calm.

I agree with Gudrun, I prefer this one too for the same reasons Graham. Stronger tones and stronger colours. Beautifully done.

I love this one as well, realistic colours, like the capturing of the Lake District hills as well
