Lovely work Graham, great feeling of the hill going down and super blue sky and sea looking so inviting, the two people are an inspired touch at well, don't you live in in have'nt you visited the Overton area the village outside Morecambe, I remember you did the watercolours of Sunderland point that were lovely, didn't see your work at the Overton Autumn Horticultural Show last weekend that had some Art classes, I won a first so I was a really happy bunny !

Thank you all for your kind comments. I tried a new style on this one. I entered the painting on the SAA Facebook site. They post a photo on each week as inspiration and the Facebook friends enter their paintings into a weekly competition - just for fun! This was my first attempt. I usually paint in detail and slowly. This one was a bit different! Ros, i do live near Overton (Bare) but knew nothing of the Horticultural Show. Well done on the First!! Do you live near too? Graham
