I often take my camera out with me, and on a particular day i happened upon this group of grads going into the senate in Cambrige to their degree ceremonies. I was struck by how their collars stood out if the darkness like white out of black chinese calligraphy, but wasn't until i got the photo's home that i fully saw the enigmatic presence they all had, so it had to be painted. It was only 10 minutes later that girl with red hair came and sat next to me at the Eagle in Cambs, so out came the camera again. Cambs is wonderful for that kind of thing, but i have had other trips which have yielded nothing of interest to me. Best to strike while the iron's hot eh!
