Beautiful

Absolutely superb!!!!!!!!

Really beautifully done! Interesting mark making too!

Nature always steps in where it can. Beautifully painted Gill.

Really well painted. Wish I could paint foliage and flowers so well.

Wonderful.

Marvelous work in fact outstanding.

Beautifully painted and love the way the dark green background makes the flowers stand out.

This painting was inspired by a visit to B&Q, where in a neglected corner of the car park I noticed poppies and ox-eye daisies growing amid the rubble. I am always thrilled when I find wild flowers breaking through the concrete jungle of modern towns. I used a variety of mark makers to show the complex weave of plants. I aimed to make the marks rich and textured and colourful, using thick paint, knives, etc
