Absolutely stunning, have just looked at your portfolio and Webb site, ammazing work. Have put your site with my favourites, will study in detail later. Would love your comments on a portrait posted on my gallery, it's something I would like to get more involved in. I think I need to practice more to get the depth of colour that you achieve and possibly try other papers.

Very good portrait. Did you use masking to get the wisps of hair on top of his head.

Thanks for the compliments - yes I used masking fluid. It was either that or use some chinese white - so I chose the purist way.

I saw this yesterday and thought it was fantastic so looked you up on the web. I'm on "the figurative journey" aspiring .... I've only started really, but if this is what can be achieved with watercolour, I shall continue. I also like your oils. I shall also aspire in oils! I look forward to seeing more.
