This is very good. I know how difficult it is to paint portraits in watercolour. It needs a great deal of confidence in the brush stroke.

I don't know this paper - looks interesting. I do admire the strong colour and tone you've brought to your portrait - a slight touch of the Elizabeth Taylors, I thought.... minus the bling, obviously.

The paper has a nice softness to it that completements the femine subject. The surface texture has an almost hammer beaten patterning to it that should enable the odd dry brush stroke to work well.
