I got inspiration from an internet image of a bundle of spring flowers. The light and colours are so very attractive and the mood is so refreshing and joyful. I thought I had to develop it into a loose watercolour painting to mark the beginning of the new year and to convey good wishes including good health and happiness to everyone who happens to see this.

I consider painting involves the discovery of one's own good self just like zen does. Each painting is another rejuvenation, and I am having lots of fun in painting the beautiful sceneries and still life in watercolour, acrylic, oil paint and water-soluble oil paint.
