Misty old River

A superb painting George a great view of Hot Wells and the Clifton suspension bridge.

The bridge is instantly recognisable, but I can’t make out where you viewpoint is in the floating harbour. Lovely painting!

Thank You very much Chris and Linda. Down under Cumberland basin Linda, there's a small grassy space overlooking this strange place. It's actually called the Grid Iron. Boats are floated over it at high tide and then secured to the dockside bollards. When the tide drops the boats finish up on the grid iron, where they can be worked on.
