Excellent painting George, the light and shadows are really well painted.

Very well painted George.

Thank you very much Paul and Stephen.

Very good architectural watercolour George. The shadow on the left hand building works very well.

So well done, great shadows emphasising the sunlight. The people in the distance are well done.

Many thanks Stephen and Lewis.

A great watercolour of an interesting urban view.

A really good watercolour George

This is so rich in colour, especially for watercolour George. The buildings are drawn and painted so skilfully and the perspective is excellent. Love those shadows and your treatment of light.

Very nicely done and great work

Thank you very much David, Heather, Carole and Elaine, much appreciated.

Lots of different architectural styles to test you George, a total success!

This is a wonderful painting. I love your use of light and shade.

Thank you very much Fiona, Spencer and Coral. It is an interesting part of Bristol, where I was born and lived for most of my life. On the facing side of the church is a clock where a small figure comes from the wall and strikes a bell every quarter hour (I think). At the far side of the Carwardines, tea blenders building stood a building called the Dutch House which unfortunately came to grief in the war, so I didn't get to see it, only in photographs. It looks to have been a remarkable building.

Beautiful; I too like the light and shade, and the super detail.

Beautifully painted, with lovely atmosphere and light.

Your comments are very welcome Karen and Seok, thank you very much.

Thank You very much Linda.

Beautiful painting George, I know Corn Street well, I started work there in the 1960’s. I love the light coming through by the Corn Exchange.

Thank You very much for your comment Gillian.

This is really good. The foreground being so dark makes the buildings really stand out.

Many thanks for commenting Andrew.
