Grape seed? Is that the colour? Another beauty!

A superb sketch , never heard of grape seed ink before, looks an interesting medium George.

Such a lovely landscape George. Sounds like ann interesting medium, the charcoal.

A super liquid charcoal scene

Thank you all very much. Grape Seed Black is indeed the name of the charcoal as the other one I posted today is Cherry Pit Black, which has quite a brown hint to it. The other one of the three made by Kohle is Peach Stone Black.

Lovely George.

Good one George.

Another nice one George, I like the hint of a tint or am I mistaken?

Superb work.

Many thanks Denise, Stephen, Marjorie and Romila. I think the tint you are seeing Marjorie is a accidental pick up from one of the other two Charcoals lying next to each other on my mixing board. And just in case you have read it wrong Paul they are Liquid Charcoal and not Watercolour.

Grape seed! liquid charcoal. Heavens. It sure works for this peaceful, lyrical scene.

Thanke you very much Lynne. Kohle Liquid charcoal is made by Schmincke. It really is made from Grape Seed, Cherry Stones, and Peach stones these are made into a soluable paste and filled into tubes as are watercolours. They are then used in much the same way as watercolours are. There are other manufacturers making simimilar products but with different base material.

I love the technique in this George. Great painting.

Many thanks Shaun
