It’s excellent George, like the colours.

This is an absolute beauty George and lovely to see it painted and in colour

Looks wonderful George.

This has great depth and I love how you have painted the distance.

Super painting George.

George, this is a successful composition, and I'm really liking the colours in the shadows.

I can't see a castle without thinking 'if only they'd bung a roof on that and putty up the walls a bit, I could live in that..': I like castles, but they're always in ruins.. Coming back to the subject though .. it doesn't matter that we're not producing the scene literally, not that you said otherwise, what matters is the composition; cameras can do the needful. The trees are strong enough that there's not a competition between dominant objects, so - it's worked. I too like the way you've treated the shadows of the trees, and your generally broken colour in the grasses.

This is a terrific piece of work George.

Thank you all very much

Acrylic painting of my previously posted charcoal. The castle is further away from the trees than in my charcoal sketch and has been adjusted in the painting.
