Hometime - Oils on panel 16x12"

Another good one Stuart. Definitely captures the last of the shoppers and the journey home in the evening rush. The distant bridge draws your eye through the painting.

I like this a lot Stuart - very atmospheric.

So much to like in this. I really admire the way you have painted the light disappearing in the distance and all the movement - so much to look at and like

A little impressionistic study. its the end of the working day in the City, the nights are drawing in and the shops and stores are begining to shut as the last shoppers look for that last minute bargain. Many of the busineses are already closing and the workforce is desperate to beat the rush home. Alas, it is all in vain as the gridlock is already in full swing and all one can do is sit in the traffic and hope you can get home soon.
