Boy With The Sad Face

Thanks to Anotoly Gray on Flickr for letting me use one of his early black and white photographs as source for this painting. I’ve had to guess at the colours, estimating clothing styles for late 50’s early 60’s. Didn’t want to fuss too much with the detail, so left a lot of the work half scummbled. This is the first time that I’ve used Atelier Interactive Acrylics, which have quite a different consistency to what I have been used to. Acrylic on paper 20x30cm.
