Lots of movement and energy to this painting, Frank - nice loose style...

Nice work. Coincidentally Frank, I just posted a sketch of Lyme Regis beach. I feel I know it well from reading Jane Austen's "Persuasion" and Mary Anning's history. I even wrote a short story some time back about Sherlock Holmes going there. (-:

Love the energy in this - particularly like the placement of the 3 children and that red hat works a treat!

The last time we visited the coast in Dorset, an overnight storm had whipped up the waves making the sea look brash and muddy. Gouache on Fabriano paper 8x6 inches.
