Beautiful textures and striking colour, love it!

Lush, Beautiful!!

Amazing painting, Carole - what stunning colours!

Beautiful colours Carole, you have achieved such a rich velvety feel to the petals.

Nice loose background perfectly compliments the detail & richness of colour in the Gladiolus.

What a luscious splash of colour Carole. Absolutely stunning and so well painted.

Carole, what gorgeous rich colours! (and like the use of cling film in the background).

Thanks all for your kind words. I used a few glazes of ShinHan watercolour in rose madder, Winsor alizarin crimson, crimson lake, sepia and winsor violet for darker bits.

Superb painting Carole, beautiful colour and fab background.

Glorious and eye-catching, a smashing piece of work.

It looks so real, a beautiful colour, and a very interesting background, love it Carole.

So vibrant and with movement Carole and I love the background, nice one.

Another wonderful flower, Carole.

You certainly have painted this one well, love the colour and textures

Very striking, Carole.

Oh wow Carole that’s a belter! Big bold and a gorgeous colour.

That is divine Carole, gorgeous colour.

Thanks so much, you are all too kind :)

Those rich, velvety shadows are wonderful. I love the background textures too

It’s stunning, Carole. Beautiful rich colours.

Thanks so much Diana and Ellen very kind.

Gorgeous colour and shading.

This is so very impressive, Carole. A stunning piece of work!

That colour really zings against the more subdued background Carole.

I'm sorry to be so unimaginative Carole, but it is exquisite! What more can I say?

Nice!
