Not the best, Carole? I think it is up to your high level of beautiful flower paintings. Stunning shapes and details, very well done. Mia

Nothing that I can see wrong with this painting, Carole - it's up to your usual high standard. And kudos to you for braving the chrysanthemum! You've captured it beautifully.

As Seok said 'Kudos to you' for even attempting a Chrysanthemum, and pulling it off!

I like it, you have got the flamboyance of these seasonal beauties, Carole. I don't do flowers but can imagine chrysanthemums must be one of the most difficult

Lovely colours and a great background, Carole. Those leaves are especially well painted.

Flowerhead and leaves- just perfect :)

Oh thank you all for your kind words. I am going to keep trying with the chrysanths as they are a challenge! So many petals :o))

Not only are the leaves and flowers good, but I love the chose of background colours.

Beautiful painting Carole, love the colours and the leaves are excellent

I think you have already beaten this challange Carole, those petals are perfect and I love the curly leaves.

Thank you Peter, Glennis and Val, glad you like it.

Can't imagine a harder flower to paint in such detail as a chrysanth, but you have pulled it off with your usual skill and aplomb. It's a lovely painting which you can add to your growing gallery of beautiful flower portraits.
